String Theoriescreated by Nigel Osborne
An eclectic and intercontinental group of musicians - including a New York jazz flautist, a French punk guitarist, a Chilean political songwriter, a German gondola pianist and a Japanese ultra-modernist - write miniatures for the Edinburgh String Quartet, linked by transformational sound-design installations.
This concert is being recorded by BBC Radio 3 and will be transmitted in Hear and Now on Saturday 24th October at 10.30pm.
